We can create Classical Order columns to your specifications or provide our standard proportions value engineered for best material yield. Cincture detail can be turned on the column shaft or as a separate part of the base to facilitate trimming in field. Generally, thicker material is required to turn a flare detail (cincture) on the shaft so it will add the overall cost of your column.

All products for exterior use are pressure-glued with Type 1 waterproof adhesive. Exterior Columns for paint grade are factory coated with two applications of primer, hand sanded between coats, inside of shafts coated for maximum moisture resistance. 16 oz. Red Copper cap flashing material is provided for wood capitals. 1/4” aluminum plates or ‘feet’ for ventilation and to prevent moisture from wicking up into a wooden plinth. Capital & base components are shown at right with our permanent glue joint at the miters. We refuse to use the butt joint/corrugated fastener that is most common in the industry! We require a 40% material deposit and written confirmation to begin all orders. Shipping fees are freight collect/COD balance/COD fee collect unless other arrangements are made at time of sale. Change orders may require up charges. Custom orders cannot be cancelled without fees. CT residents add 6% sales tax. All others please pay your State Use taxes.
